Short Story Review - MAGNUM OPUS by Caitlin Marceau

I recommend going into this not knowing a thing about it because that's what I did and wow..the beginning really surprised me.😯

BUT this story is about friendship, jealousy, revenge, grief and the competitiveness of the publishing world.

I really thought the author did an amazing job showing the distress and mental breakdown of the main character. It didn't feel like the typical cliche ghost story--this had depth and relatability plus an unsettling kind of haunt.🫣

This was good from beginning to end and the little bits of horror were enjoyable.

If you haven't read any of Caitlin Marceau's work yet...what are you waiting for?

5/5
