Book Review - WOOM by Dulcan Ralston

Oh WOOM..how I adore thee.
This is a story about a guy who hires a 'woman of the night' to meet him in a motel room. While things are happening, he shares three stories of what have happened to people in that same room.
The stories were all horrifying and disgusting--I loved the weirdness of it all. I went into this with the expectation of it being beyond disturbing and hard to read, but really it wasn't TOO bad. I don't know what that says about me but I found it gross and manageable. If you're not use to reading extreme horror then this will throw you for a loop.
I oddly enough figured out some of the twists but I still enjoyed seeing how it would all end. The ending was pretty good and definitely wasn't what I was expecting. This story is all about trauma, love, family and relationships--this actually has a few deeper moments (all pun intended) that I wasn't expecting.
If you have triggers, then you should look up the ones for this. There are a lot of them. Also, if you can't stomach 'poo' scenes…well either pass this up or read it with a trash can next to you.
